Yeah, it’s cool that Bon Iver is on ABC, and yeah, it’s cool that we were enjoying him for months and months and months before.
Most people realize it’s not safe to text and drive, but apparently, texting and walking don’t mix either.
See the video link from London. Almost hard to believe they’ve actually padded the lamposts, but apparently true.
Please use the internet wisely. Here’s an example of the opposite for the sake of reference.
I had just re-watched 2010 on Sunday (not nearly as good as 2001, of course, but I think the recent death of Roy Scheider encouraged me to Netflix it again.) Clarke imagined so many things correctly before they became reality.
Clarke stated, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic” in his 3rd law of prediction.
“Anyone can do anything for only 15 minutes.” For the most part true. Do you have any idea how much you can accomplish in just 15 minutes a day?
Do the math.
That’s 91.25 hours a year.
Over a decade, it amounts to a total od 38.8 days!

In the future, everyone will have a blog, and there will be no more need for bloggers to blog about bands because the bands will do it themselves.
Here’s White Light Riot’s extensive coverage of their own SXSW experience, including their playing at the poorly attended Voltage Fashion Amplified Day Party.
Ya know, I realize this is my website and all, but I am really digging our SXSW coverage. It feels personal. I hope that everyone’s who’s been listening to Stacy’s audio blogcasts gets the same feeling of someone’s phoning home to tell you what’s going on. (And rubbing it in about the weather.)
Just got my registration info for Glastonbury 2008. Tickets go onsale at 9 a.m. (British Summer Time) on April 6th. Yikes, 3 a.m. in Minneapolis, I do believe. But Leonard Cohen will be playing one of his handful of shows at this year’s festival. I figure I try and hit Glasto, then go to Denmark for Roskilde and hear me some Judas Priest, and that will make me a well-rounded music guy.
Anna Lee asked me why I never go to SXSW. I like being back in Minneapolis making sure everything goes smoothly with our remote coverage, I said. (I get my festival action on in the summer when I go to Europe anyway and can’t really afford to do both.)
Anna suggested that I’m “the man behind the curtain,” and yes, I am kind of that guy, and I like it.
